Mike Newes is an experienced real estate professional with nearly a decade of experience working in the areas of investment properties, second homes and primary residences in Southwest Florida.

Mike originally started his career with Coldwell Banker Residential, where he won numerous awards for listing and sales achievement, prior to joining Golf in Paradise. Mike is an avid golfer, though he plays with more enthusiasm than skill. He has been known to skip golf for fishing. He has in-depth knowledge of the upscale golf communities that dot our region—not just those where Golf in Paradise has rental programs but other premier courses as well. In addition, he also has experience in canal and beachfront properties as well as gated communities throughout Lee and Collier County.

Mike moved from Minnesota to the Orlando area in 1987, then on to Ft. Myers in 1998. After beginning his career as a sports writing journalist, Mike moved into advertising, then sales and marketing. Before entering the real estate industry, he was head of international sales for a computer software company he helped found. He has had first hand experiences in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Astral-Asian region.
